Career Opportunities

The management philosophy at Mental Health America of Lake County is to focus on the needs of others before you consider your own. We acknowledge other people's perspectives, give them the support they need to meet their work and personal goals, involve them in decisions when appropriate, and build a sense of community within the team and organization.

MHALC embodies sharing values of diversity and inclusion to not only achieve but also sustain excellence. We believe that we can best promote excellence by recruiting and retaining diversity in our staffing and by creating a climate of respect for the spectrum of human diversity, and a genuine understanding of the many differences—including race, ethnicity, gender, age, socio-economic status, national origin, sexual orientation, disability and religion that will enrich our  organization. We believe that our staff will learn from each other and work better when the work setting allows for interacting with others who are unlike themselves.
